there was a rough outline of Tasoula given, but there weren't a particular list of specifics that needed to be met. so instead of the normal scene, i decided to do up a design sheet. some alternate clothing & weapons are included.

:star: NB : Tasoula is © of :iconlauraurora: :star:

started off with the thumbnails down the bottom to get a feel of a halfling rogue. settled pretty quickly on the open toed leggings, since halflings usually prefer to feel the ground beneath their feet.
was after light clothing to let her run and jump without hindrance. she has a few leather items, gloves, bracers and toe-less boots.
a belt was a pretty good idea, since rogues need all sorts of goodies close at hand, pouches with lock-picks, poisons, health potions, rope, etc.
as for weapons, i gave her 2 different daggers here. you can see all the sketch designs i did down the bottom.

for her face i gave her child like proportions so she has quite a large forehead and eyes, and smaller nose, chin and mouth. same with her height, i didn't want to fill her out as a stout halfling, since i was aiming for a lightfoot halfling. miniaturised her proportions so she'd come out looking shorter, yet not dwarf like.

art fluff
roughly 20+ hours over a couple of weeks. back and forth between designs and ideas.
used references for her face with googling 'child face' , 'leather' & 'health potion'

there's some seriously crazy good entries, since they're from professional-level entrants.

good luck to all the other contestants :D

c&c always welcome :XD:

I've found all of the designs interesting and practical. I've warmed up to the idea of her having a child-like face, actually. I have to admit that when I first looked at her, it did look a bit odd at first but that was probably because I hadn't read your description so I didn't know what you were aiming for.
Overall, you've done some really nice concepts.
